Darden Restaurants profit slips but tops estimates

Darden Restaurants, owner of nationwide chains Red Lobster, Olive Garden and Longhorn Steakhouse, says its fiscal third-quarter profit fell 15% from the year-ago period as the weak economy pinched casual dining.
