Dell, Gap ready to take the late-trading spotlight after results

Dell Inc.’s financial report, due late Thursday, will be the last snapshot of conditions in the technology sector from an industry bellwether during the fourth-quarter earnings season, and the PC maker is expected to post a decline in quarterly profit and sales.
