SAP Hybris Named as a Leader in B2C and B2B Commerce Suites According to Independent Research Firm

SAP Hybris today announced that it was named by Forrester Research as a leader in two recent reports: “The Forrester Wave™: B2C Commerce Suites, Q1 2017” and “The Forrester Wave™: B2B Commerce Suites, Q1 2017.”

According to Forrester Research*, much of the criteria across B2C and B2B reports was the same; however, the B2C report focuses “more heavily on things like experience management, digital store, and omnichannel and less on B2B-specific areas like eProcurement, full-spectrum selling, and channel management.”

The reports cite SAP Hybris as powering the company’s full-stack commerce solution offerings. The report also notes that, “with customers now expecting deeper research experiences and richer purchase journeys, vendors must deliver new capabilities both on the back end around fulfillment and integration and on the front end around seamless and innovative customer experiences.”

Since the 2015 evaluation, SAP Hybris experienced substantial growth in revenue, customer base, and its partner ecosystem and is now “a staple in most consideration sets for commerce technology selections and owns the dominant commerce mindshare in the enterprise commerce space.” SAP Hybris also “continues to be a favorite because of its stability, large global implementation partner network, and vertical industry solution focus.”

“Whether it is a B2C, B2B, or even B2B2C, customer expectations today have become increasingly complex, requiring agility for our clients to adapt to new channels, experiences, and to do so in an integrated fashion that can power all channels,” said Brian Walker, Chief Strategy Officer, SAP Hybris. “By building upon our rich commerce feature set, platform agility, and doubling down on our investments in marketing and experience management, we’re enabling our customers to deliver exceptional omnichannel experiences and drive market-share across many different verticals and use-cases. I believe that these reports illustrate the value our clients find in our platform across many applications.”
