Dr. Russell Richmond Joins PeraHealth Board of Directors

PeraHealth, a provider of predictive, real-time clinical surveillance solutions, announces the appointment of Russell Richmond, M.D. to its board of directors. Dr. Richmond, a physician and entrepreneur focused on improving the quality, safety, and value of healthcare delivery, is currently the chief executive officer of Advanced Practice Strategies (APS).

After the death of their mother, it became clear to PeraHealth founders Michael and Steven Rothman that while the data was essentially stored in the EHR, it was not synthesized into meaningful information to actively help clinicians in situations like their mother’s, whose deterioration was unrecognized.
