New Video Explains Medicare Supplement Plan G Deductible For Part B

Tripp Jordan with Medicare For Her in Cornelius, North Carolina, has recently released a new episode of his Medicare guidance videos for women who are struggling to understand Medicare Advantage versus Medicare supplements. This latest episode highlights Medicare Supplement Plan G deductibles and explains what women need to know about this plan, as well as other information regarding choosing a Medicare supplement.

"Seniors often need help in determining which plan is best," says Jordan. "My goal is to help my clients and others that aren't even my clients, to better understand Medicare coverage and the supplements that are available to help with further coverage."

In the new video, which can be seen at https://youtu.be/4ol2_SK3ujs, Jordan explains Medicare supplements and how they work. He states that there are a number of insurance carriers that are leaving Medicare Advantage and further explains the reasons he feels women should choose a supplement instead.

"You can choose any doctor in any hospital with a Medicare supplement plan, which you can't do with Medicare Advantage," says Jordan. "This is important to understand, particularly if your golden years involve a lot of travel or you are making plans to travel. You want to know that you're covered no matter where you go."

The topic of the video is also discussed in an article at the Medicare for Her website, specifically at http://www.medicareforher.com/medicare-supplement-plan-g-deductible-2017/. Through the said website, Jordan helps clients to better understand the Medicare system and guides them in choosing a plan that will ensure the best possible coverage for their medical needs.

In the video, he states that the part b deductible for original Medicare is increasing from $166 to $183 in 2017, affecting medicare supplements plans G, D, & N. Medicare Part B covers things like doctor visits and various outpatient services. Regardless of the deductible increase, he states that the majority of his clients are still saving more by being willing to be on a supplement plan that has a deductible, than by paying more monthly for one of the plans that pays the deductible for you and that it's important for you to weigh your options based on your personal situation.
