E la Carte Ups Its Game With Real-Time Multiplayer Trivia on Presto™ Smart Dining System

E la Carte, Inc., creators of the Presto™ Smart Dining System for full-service restaurants, today announced Presto Trivia™, its new social, multiplayer trivia game, where players can test their knowledge and compete against other guests while at select Presto restaurants.

The new multiplayer game includes popular trivia categories including general knowledge, sports, movies, TV, celebrities, history, science, geography and more. Guests can create and customize their own gamer name and avatar to create a personalized experience. Players earn a score for each game they play and the top scoring players are displayed on the Restaurant and Nationwide Leaderboards for all to see.

Presto Trivia also includes an optional second screen capability, where games and leaderboards are projected onto one or more large screen televisions in the restaurant. Second screen enhances the overall dining experience by driving more awareness of the trivia offering, and social interaction between guests.

“The primary reason we created the Presto System was to spark a more social dining experience. Initially, games were limited to 'play at the table,' however, we didn’t want to limit the fun and wanted to create a more engaging and interactive dining experience,” said Stacy Rademacher, Head of Entertainment at E la Carte. “People come to restaurants to be in a social atmosphere. Our multiplayer games promote friendly competition and encourage loyal and returning guests.”

Presto Trivia is also capable of local trivia game events, which creates a strong social community and encourages guests to return regularly. To learn more about the Presto Smart Dining System, visit http://elacarte.com/.
