SAN FRANCISCO - April 27, 2016 - PRLog -- Nearshore Nexus 2016, the premiere outsourcing conference focused on Latin America IT Services and BPO, is being held in San Francisco, on May 11th-12th, 2016.  This is the first time the conference has been hosted on the west coast, bringing to focus executive-level dialogue surrounding the opportunities, risks, and advantages of developing strategic relationships with Latin America companies.

Keynote Speaker, Laura Chinchilla Miranda, the Former President of Costa Rica, will address the attendees at the Le Meridien Hotel.  Miranda is a political scientist, and holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University.  She was the first woman to hold the Presidential Office in Costa Rica.  She is very active on global agenda issues and takes part in various forums including the Club de Madrid, the Inter-American Dialogue, and the Latin America Presidencial Commission.

"There are many benefits to Silicon Valley companies doing business with established companies from Central and South America.  In addition to lower operating costs, the workforce has dual language comprehension (Spanish & English), and having an outsourced company in your time zone is always beneficial, and something that overseas countries cannot provide their partners with," noted Kirk Laughlin, Managing Director and Founder, Nearshore Americas Media.

For two days, Latin American and Caribbean based technology companies will have the chance to interact with IT leaders, sourcing decision makers and startup founders from local companies.  In addition to the unparalleled networking opportunities, attendees will learn how to tap new markets, open new business operations and understand what countries are best suited for relevant products and services.

Additional Speakers Also Include:

Prem Shanker - Sr Buyer, Technology at Southwest Airlines
Carlos Pallatti - Undersecretary of Technology, Argentina
