Auto experts at Edmunds.com named Acura the winner of their Best Retained Value Awards for the fourth year in a row.
PRLog - June 29, 2015 - CHICAGO -- Chicagoland Acura Dealers is proud to announce that the current Acura lineup was recognized by the auto value experts at Edmunds.com for its investment potential, having the best projected residual value of all luxury brands. In addition to the brand award, both the 2015 Acura ILX and RDX earned the top spot for residual value in their segment of the auto market.
This is the fourth consecutive year Acura has won this value award from Edmunds, topping all luxury brands with the highest residual value after five years of ownership: 46.9%. Residual values are expressed as a percentage of the original purchase price, and while some vehicles may come close to losing half of their value the instant they are driven off of the lot, Acura models are clearly immune to this rule.

In order for a brand to be eligible for the Edmunds award, it must have sold more than 100,000 models in 2014 and have models competing in at least four different categories. With the brand new 2015 Acura TLX making waves and 2016 versions of Acura's other four vehicles now available, Chicagoland drivers have three luxury sedans and two luxury crossovers to choose from with the NSX supercar on the way soon.
