A Word is Born. Defining the next level of marketing

secondary dot-com addresses promote brand understanding. Now these have a name: 'Missionlines'
PRLog - June 26, 2015 - SAN DIEGO -- Recently, brands have begun to secure dot-com marketing messages to augment their existing domain names. Now these secondary web addresses have a name of their own. Missionlines. What better could define their online missions?

Using Styleflo.com as an example, the brand would clearly be about style, 'in the flow', and, of course, its domain name would drive visitors to its website. Or would it? Though the name it has a nice ring to it, like many brands, it reveals nothing about its promise. Add a missionline - Styleflo.com / DesignerYogawear.com and it becomes both compelling and unforgettable. Labeling a pharmaceutical 'Viraxantium'? Viraxantium.com / CognitiveBest.com will take both brand recognition and recall to the next level.

Web addresses best drive marketing when brands are well understood and easily recalled. Accordingly, there is an ever-growing market for secondary domain names. Today, suites of missionlines can work hand-in-hand with brands to open websites, social media pages, blogs, and videos.

How can a word make its way into the dictionary? Perhaps this press release will give 'Missionlines' its start. Missionline \ˈmi-shən -līn \ - Noun; A dot-com web address curated to promote brand understanding. A registered trademark, free for common usage in only this context. Unless expressly agreed by the trademark holder, any description of any domain name as a Missionline except as it conforms to the above definition will directly violate this trademark.

Why does 'missionline' define only .com addresses? Because no other extension is as iconic, better remembered or more trusted.
