Adds JQuery Grid Grouping, as well as a number of new widgets.
PRLog - May 1, 2015 - SEATTLE -- ShieldUI is proud to announce a number of major additions to its UI component Suite.

Its jQuery Grid component received a major feature update, by allowing grouping of records. This feature allows manual as well as dynamic settings of group expressions to group the records in the rendered widget. In addition to this, the ShieldUI jQuery Grid component now supports aggregates to show cumulative data on the groups in the control. As with all components in the Suite, this feature is available in the JavaScript Suite, as well as the packages for ASP.NET And ASP.NET MVC. You can see the control in action here.

In addition to this, a number of new components are available in the latest release.
The jQuery Accordion widget allows collapsible menu-like rendering with either single or multiple expansion of nodes. The jQuery Splitter component was also recently released and offers resizable page panes for easy division of any site into different zones with corresponding content. The third new entry to the Suite was the flexible Switch widget. This modern two-state indicator allows very customizable appearance and animations and is a great replacement for the ordinary checkbox. As with all components from the ShieldUI Suite, each new component comes with wrappers for ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC and JAVA Wicket, to provide developers with enhanced experience, by allowing them to use the right tool in any IDE of their choice. All components are available for further review here.

These new components are added to an already existing product base of more than 80 widget types, which also include one of the most feature rich JQuery chart plugins on the market, as well as a large number of date and time pickers, numeric and text inputs, one and two-dimensional barcodes.

The mid-term plans of ShieldUI include the fast expansion of their Data Visualisation Suite, by adding even more chart types, including a gauge component and providing wrappers for all new components for ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC and JAVA Wicket. Also in the plans for this year is the implementation of Map and Editor plugins.
