SandCastle Entertainment welcomes singer/songwriter Tara Keith

PRLog - April 27, 2015 - NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Popular Nashville singer and songwriter Tara Keith has reached an agreement with SandCastle Entertainment, CEO Richard Buckman announced today.

“All of us at SandCastle are bristling with excitement over Tara Keith and have been ever since we first saw her video and heard her music,” Buckman said. “She is the strong female artist we have targeted from Day One to round out our artist line-up at SandCastle.”

Actually it was another SandCastle songwriter, Don Quinn, who introduced Buckman to Tara and set the wheels in motion for them to talk.

“That’s what I like about our folks,” Buckman said. “They all have an eye and ear for good talent when they see and hear it and are looking out for each other.”

The Canadian-born 26-year-old received a vocal scholarship in 2006 to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music as a performance major and won Hitlab and The Recording Academy’s 2012 Emerging Artist of the Year Award. She also took 1st place on MTV's singing competition series "Copycat" in 2013, which aired last June.

Tara headlined the GRAMMY Week’s 3rd Annual Social Media Rock Stars Summit at The Conga Room in L.A. and walked the red carpet with the best of the 54th Annual GRAMMY Award reception.

“She is a rising superstar,” Buckman said. “She has a powerful voice and personality and is everything we could hope for in an artist and person to work with our company. This is a landmark day for SandCastle.”
