Pillar Hotels & Resorts Employee Receives Marriott Triumph of Spirit Award

The Triumph of Spirit Award is presented to one General Manager who, through commitment and a service frame of mind, has overcome adversity at his or her hotel. Criteria for the award include: Overcoming extreme obstacles to continually deliver service, keeping the team motivated, financial management during adverse conditions, sales leadership and service leadership.

Helen devotes herself to her team's success and has led Courtyard Chicago-Bloomingdale to accomplish exceptional audit and Bistro scores. The hotel was honored with a 2014 Silver Circle Hotel Award at the 2015 Marriott GM Conference for being in the top 20% of the brand.
