The KREIOS Series of thin clients masterfully handles the most challenging applications, from 3D and CAD to multimedia and more, featuring enhanced hardware to allow graphic-intensive applications to run locally or on server-centric virtual desktop or application servers using Citrix HDX, Horizon View PCoIP and Microsoft RemoteFX.

Additionally, the new KREIOS Series excels at decoding multimedia content with support for DirectX11, OpenGL3.2, OpenCL1.2 HW Decode: H.264, MPEG2, MVC, VC-1, WMV9, MJPEG and VP8, which are essential technologies used in unified communication and complex audio visual applications.

The muscle behind the KREIOS is a powerful 2.0 GHz Intel Quad Core CPU, standard with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB Solid State storage (upgradable to 8 GB / 1 TB SSD respectively), supporting 32 / 64 bit Windows and Linux Embedded and Desktop operating systems, including the soon to be released Windows 10.

Other key features offered include power surge spike protection (a feature not found in most thin clients), VESA mountable capabilities standard, a write-protected file system, optional trusted platform module support and ultra-fast boot-up speed.  All of this from a small form factor thin client that uses a miniscule 12 Watts of power.

The KREIOS is supported by Thinlabs Device Manager, the premier remote device management solution that allows automatic provisioning of devices out-of-the-box based on pre-configured deployment templates, providing a true enterprise class thin client solution.
