A free app to help kids spread holiday cheer, now available on iOS devices.
PRLog - Nov. 24, 2014 - WHITEHALL, N.Y. -- Holiday Heroes, a good deeds list for kids, is now available to download for free on the Apple AppStore. Using the app, parents and children discover a variety of ways they can spread cheer this holiday season. As children complete good deeds they are rewarded with special titles and badges.

When opening the app for the first time, kids are introduced to Charity the Elf. It is Charity’s job to teach them how to become Holiday Heroes. Next, kids are presented with a few good deeds to get them started and each day Charity will add another to the list. Parents and children can personalize the list with custom deeds they create. As they complete more good deeds, kids are rewarded with new titles like Reindeer Wrangler and Present Packer, along with a coloring page they can print out. If they do enough good deeds they will earn the ultimate title of Goodwill Guardian.

“I have always strived to make an impact on people with every product I create,” said designer John Beck. “With Holiday Heroes, I want to inspire kids to be positive influences on their families and the community.”

Holiday Heroes is created by John Beck of Whitehall, NY and Logan Chittenden of Westbrook, CT. Charity the Elf comes to life thanks to illustrations by Canadian cartoonist Joel Duggan, and voice acting by Sandee Rollins of Whitehall, NY.
