PRLog - Oct. 31, 2014 - OLATHE, Kan. -- Trilogy Cultural Arts Centre presents Annie, Jr. The Musical November 13-15 at the Indian Creek Community Church Auditorium. “Our cast is very excited to be presenting a show like Annie, Jr. to our community,” said Bridget Taylor, Executive Artistic Director of Trilogy Cultural Arts Centre.

The Centre, founded by Damon and Bridget Taylor, provides training and performance opportunities to artists ages 3 through adult in theater, dance, music and art. The group has directed and produced many musical theater shows including Annie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Seussical the Musical and, now, Annie, Jr.

“After our trip to New York City this year, we were inspired that the talent at Trilogy is so strong we could produce a Broadway-inspired level show with our students,” said Taylor. “The choreography is innovative, top-notch and original! We are using set pieces like the bunk beds as a moving prop in our choreography with our orphans and the stairs and furniture in the mansion are moved as choreography by the servants.”

The show also strives to recreate the feeling of a 1930’s New York City from the moment the doors open. They are utilizing a live stage and vendors while New York City dwellers from the cast interact with the theater audience.

Tickets for the show are $12 for adults and $10 for children 12 & under. Tickets at the door are $12 and group rates are also available.
