APP successfully raises $45,000 in 2nd Annual Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital Golf Tournament

Associated Petroleum Products (APP) headquartered in Tacoma, Washington and a large supporter of Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital increased their fund-raising efforts by raising $45,000 benefiting the foundation through their 2nd Annual Golf Tournament.
PRLog - Oct. 20, 2014 - TACOMA, Wash. -- Associated Petroleum Products, Inc. (APP) is already a large supporter of Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in many of their fund raising efforts.  For the 2nd year, APP hosted a golf tournament that is strictly for the Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital Foundation, benefiting the $30 Million Campaign which includes the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Tree House:  A Place for Families.

The tournament was held at the “members only” Fircrest Golf Club, located in Tacoma, WA on September 8, 2014. A full turn-out of guests and supporters were treated to a great day of golf, contests, and raffles, all in the name of raising money to benefit Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital.  The attendees did not disappoint and were very generous in making this tournament a success. “The support from our suppliers, customers, and business partners were outstanding,” commented Frank Pupo, Jr., APP Executive VP/COO, “Both me and my partner Luke were overwhelmed with the generosity of our sponsors and guests.  It will really touch the lives of many kids that rely on Mary Bridge.”

For APP, it’s a very personal story as they have experienced firsthand the excellent care and encouragement from Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital with several children of the employees and ownership of APP.  Their support includes active involvement on the board of Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and one of the major sponsors of the annual Festival of Trees event and other fund raising events.  “With the strong leadership team at Multicare and the fact that every dollar raised goes directly to the cause; there is no better organization to support,” Luke Xitco, President/CEO commented.
