Rent-A-Center Donates to The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of St. Albans

Rent-A-Center, Inc. (NASDAQ/NGS: RCII) today announced a donation of computer equipment and software, including nine Lenovo all-in-one computers and a high-tech multimedia computer, to The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of St. Albans, one of four clubs across the nation sharing a total of $100,000 worth of Rent-A-Center funding. The funding is earmarked for the development of “Tech Centers” aimed at providing youth the latest in available technology.

“Rent-A-Center's computer donation will allow us to provide increased access to computers and the internet to the children and teens we serve who may not otherwise have access to these resources,” said Jessica Hudson, St. Albans Boys & Girls Club Director. “Technological resources are vital to opening doors educationally, and this donation will certainly help us to do that.”
