Becker Glove International dba Grand Sierra Gloves announced the release of a revolutionary new type of glove, one designed to change the way users have fun at outdoor events while enjoying beverages.

LOUIS -- The TailGator™ Beverage Glove is Grand Sierra Gloves' next step in the evolution of the winter glove, featuring a patent-protected attachment that can hold beers, bottles, cans, and solo cups while still allowing the user to utilize their hands. Using their proprietary Bec-Tech® material, Grand Sierra has focused on making the glove waterproof, windproof, and breathable for maximum comfort. In coordination with a Thinsulate™ liner for warmth, The TailGator™ Glove also features an insulated wrap-around beverage holder, designed to keep drinks warm or cold. The wrap around liner is double-sewn directly into the seam of the glove, making it virtually tear or rip-proof.
The TailGator™ Beverage Glove uses a nylon-based pocket that is constructed from a stretchable material proprietary to Becker Glove . By using a stretchable fabric, the glove can accommodate a wide variety of beverage sizes ranging from 12-24oz cans, 12-32oz bottles, and 16oz Solo® or Dart® party cups. One of the unique features of the TailGator™ Glove is the deployable beverage pocket, which can be can be relocated out of the dexterity zone of the glove and secured out of the user's way. When in use, the temperature of your beverage is maintained using a combination of Bec-Tech® and Thinsulate™ insulation. Hot beverages stay warm, cold drinks stay cool.
The other areas of the glove feature additional materials focused around the wearer's comfort and usability. The fingertips, thumb and palm are made from Rubber-tech that is sewn into the glove rather than coated for further durability. An elastic shirring was added designed to keep the glove securely in place on a user's hand, despite the added weight from beverages. Sidewalls were not added to the side of the glove fingers, and in their place are forchettes inside of soft fabric for dexterity. When the beverage attachment is not in use, the TailGator™ logo is prominently displayed on the outside of the glove.
