In trading on Wednesday, general contractors & builders shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.7%. Helping drag down the group were shares of William Lyon Homes (WLH), off about 6.3% and shares of Hovnanian Enterprises (HOV) off about 4% on the day.
