Australian Entrepreneurs Expose the Lies & Dirty Secrets of Business Education

By: PRLog
Free Sydney evening explores the corruption and manipulation of business training and big brands, and helps business owners create authentic influence.
PRLog - Jun. 12, 2014 - SYDNEY, Australia -- Dev Singh and Anfernee Chansamooth, global entrepreneurs and business trainers based in Sydney, will be hosting a free controversial business training on Thursday 3rd July 2014, lifting the curtains on and raising questions about the integrity of the increasingly prominent, global business education industry.

After both young Australians separately experienced life-altering experiences, they found themselves on the path of entrepreneurship to live a life of meaningful contribution and service alongside financial freedom.

After several years of building their respective consulting and training practices, and getting rare behind-the-scenes glimpses of the business education and training industry, they started seeing more and more practices that pushed the envelope of ethics, as well as outright scams and cons that were never getting caught out.

Singh, who has worked globally as a brand strategist, and closely with some of Australia’s leading business education experts, says that in a lot of cases entrepreneurs have no idea what they’re really buying into.

“I’ve been very lucky to have been trained by some genuinely amazing people, but the stories of outright corruption and deception you hear is terrifying. They’re selling by catching a lot of people in a very vulnerable place, who are desperate to save their careers, businesses and in some cases their livelihoods,” he says.

“But all they get in exchange for thousands and thousands of dollars is more hopes and dreams.”

Chansamooth, who has attended almost 150 training events in the past 10 years, has had more direct experience as a victim.

“I’ve definitely had the experience of handing over my money, thinking I was buying a legitimate program, only to never hear from the company again,” he exclaims.

“The worst of it is that there are still these kinds of operators out there, and plenty of naïve entrepreneurs who don’t know how to identify the authentic opportunities from the smoke and mirrors.”

Authentic Influence is designed to shine light on the manipulations and corruption of the business education industry, but perhaps more importantly, to empower entrepreneurs and business owners with the knowledge and skills to make more informed decisions about growing their business.

Singh and Chansamooth will be  demystifying what it takes to become more influential in business, to avoid getting caught out by artificial displays of grandeur and the glamour often associated with business training programs.

They’ll also be teaching entrepreneurs the science and psychology of how these manipulations and exploitations work, and what can be learned from them to create much more powerful, authentic and influential relationships with customers and clients, for meaningful and measurable business results.

Authentic Influence will be held on Thursday 3rd July 2014, from 6pm to 9:30pm, and limited free places are available for registration at http://authenticinfluence.net.
