Exactech Announces First International Introduction of ExactechGPS® Guided Personalized Surgery at 15th EFORT Congress

Exactech, Inc. (Nasdaq: EXAC), a developer and producer of bone and joint restoration products for hip, knee, shoulder, spine and biologic materials, announced today its slate of products to be featured at the company’s technical exhibit, Capital Hall, Booth #16, at the 15th Annual Congress of the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT) June 4-6 in London.

Exactech Knee

Since 1994, the Exactech Knee system has demonstrated “Performance over Time” with its proven design, proprietary materials and excellent long-term clinical results.1

The company is celebrating 20 years of Exactech Knee with its first international introduction of ExactechGPS® -- Guided Personalized Surgery, the first advanced surgical technology to provide a real-time patient-specific solution in total knee arthroplasty. With a touch screen in the sterile field, ExactechGPS puts real-time visual guidance and alignment data at the surgeon’s fingertips. Customized for surgeon preferences, ExactechGPS is a powerful addition to the surgical team in addressing their goals of efficacy, efficiency and economics.

Exactech’s educational exhibit features a surgical skills area that will allow clinicians to see live demonstrations of ExactechGPS and to gain hands-on experience with this advanced surgical technology and the Optetrak Logic® knee system.

Exactech is also introducing Optetrak Logic Porous PS, which offers a textured, CoCr coating option with increased average pore size and greater porosity than traditional spherical beads.2

Exactech Hip

Exactech Hip solutions address the continuum of hip arthroplasty. The Exactech Hip portfolio includes solutions for primary, fracture and revision hip reconstruction.

Exactech Shoulder

Nine years of clinical use and 32 peer-reviewed studies demonstrate that Exactech had it “Right from the Start.” The EFORT Congress is the ideal time to learn more about Exactech’s Equinoxe® Platform Shoulder System — the fastest growing shoulder system in the industry. At EFORT, Exactech introduces the Equinoxe® Cage Glenoid, designed to offer several benefits including minimized operating room time and enhanced fixation through interference fit of the plasma coated central cage.

Exactech Biologics

Exactech recognizes the growing importance of biologic solutions for orthopaedics. Come by the Exactech booth to learn about:

  • Optecure® bone matrix and the flexibility of combining with saline, blood, autogenous bone marrow and autologous bone graft.
  • Accelerate® Concentrating System: Designed for the safe and rapid preparation of autologous platelet rich plasma (PRP) from a small sample of blood at the patient’s point of care.

Surgeon experts on Exactech Knee, ExactechGPS and Exactech Biologics will be available for appointments at the exhibit to discuss their experiences, the technical aspects of Exactech products and solutions for clinical challenges with EFORT attendees.
