Oakcreek Nursing & Rehabilitation Announces Name Change

Oakcreek Nursing & Rehabilitation in Luling, TX is now operating under the name Magnolia Living & Rehabilitation.


Oakcreek Nursing & Rehabilitation is pleased to announce that as of April 1, 2014 the name of the facility has changed to Magnolia Living & Rehabilitation. The new name was revealed to the residents at a family night in November after a Thanksgiving dinner hosted by the facility.

A grand re-opening of the facility took place on Thursday, April 3rd where Magnolia Living & Rehabilitation celebrated the name change with residents, staff, and members of the community. Guests enjoyed a barbeque dinner, live music and a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce. The event was a great opportunity for friends and family to mingle with the residents and employees and tour the updated facility.

The name change was a collaborative effort of the residents and staff of the facility. While there were several suggestions considered for the new name, the facility and its residents agree that Magnolia Living & Rehabilitation is a great reflection of the combination of short-term rehabilitation and the long-term living environment provided to facility residents. Administrator, Leon Evans couldn't agree more. "Magnolia is our home, and employees, as well as residents consider each other family.
