Charting a resilient bull market

Though the obvious may be boring, the major U.S. stock benchmarks remain within a strong primary uptrend. Consider that the S&P 500 Index has notched an all-time closing high this week, while the Nasdaq Composite has reached a corresponding 13-year closing peak. Both milestones followed a successful test of well-defined technical support.
