After listening to user feedback, online project management system Project Bubble gets some powerful new features that give more power to the project managers in the organisation.

Online project management systems can be found in all corners of the web and to make themselves stand out, vendors need to constantly incorporate new features that make life easier for users of their systems and this is where Project Bubble stands out from the crowd.

The latest updates follow on from feedback Stu has received about the allocation of tasks by project manager roles within the system. Normally a project manager can create a project but then only administrators can actually manage them and allocate and share tasks out. As the administrator role has far more reaching powers, many companies didn’t want to give those powers to everyone.
Now a project manager can actually see all the tasks in projects they are involved with, regardless of the user assignment. They can also filter by users, set tasks for the users and assign tasks to any users involved in that project.
Another changed that has been added is that if a task is assigned to one person, nobody else will see it. It used to be the case that all tasks were listed on everyone’s dashboard in the project resulting in a very cluttered view, but now all of that has been cleaned up.
Stu Green added, “The evolution of the system is based on requirements of the users and our on-going attempt to make it easier for them to get the job done. If managing a project through our system makes it harder, then we haven’t done our job right.”
