In trading on Friday, non-precious metals & non-metallic mining shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 2.2%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Universal Stainless & Alloy (USAP), off about 19.1% and shares of Ivanhoe Mines Limited (IVN) off about 4.5% on the day.
