Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, the leading fabric and craft specialty retailer in America, is thrilled to announce a contest for those sewing and crafting enthusiasts who take the average nursery and transform it into a one-of-a-kind handcrafted baby haven.
Beginning Friday, June 1, and lasting until Wednesday, June 30, the Simply for Baby Nursery Video Contest will allow Do-It-Yourselfers the opportunity to showcase their personalized baby items, inspire fellow crafters, and earn the chance to win a $500 Jo-Ann gift card and baby-themed prize package.
To enter, contestants must first create a video tour of their crafted nursery, and then upload the video to YouTube. To finalize their entry, contestants can submit their nursery tour to the Simply for Baby contest by visiting Joann.com/blog.
Throughout the month, contestants, fans and nursery-crafters-to-be are encouraged to check out all of the entries at pinterest.com/joannstores. At the end of the contest period, a panel of crafting experts from Jo-Ann will choose a winner based on nursery theme, originality and workmanship.
"Every day on our Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest pages, our fans and followers share more and more of their baby-inspired projects. We developed this contest to give them a platform and incentive to share all of the incredible work they are already doing," said Nicole Long, manager of inspiration for Jo-Ann. "For those trying to find their own nursery inspiration, the contest will serve as a starting point to spark their creativity."
