In celebration of a successful year, Santa Claus and his Congress Canada helpers recently spread some holiday cheer at Toronto’s leading hotels.


In celebration of a successful year, Santa Claus and his Congress Canada helpers recently spread some holiday cheer at Toronto’s leading hotels. Congress Canada, a destination management company specializing in the Toronto and Niagara Falls area, joyfully distributed cookies and favourite ginger recipes at hotel sales offices on December 13 and 14.

Congress Canada staff, including company president, Pam Graham, accompanied Santa on his festive route. Susan Minns, Director of Sales and Yuliana Tjie, Sales Coordinator, were also among the Congress Canada team to make a stop at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto.

“It was heartwarming to see the joy Santa still brings to everyone he meets. The happy holiday spirit was simply contagious, from the hotel doormen to the housekeeping staff,” said Graham.

In keeping with the DMC network company’s theme of “Congress Canada, Your Essential Ingredient,” ginger was chosen as December’s essential ingredient and received with warmth by all.

Fanny Tse, Director of Convention Sales at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, thanked the Congress Canada team for accompanying the “jolly good fellow,” adding that the “yummy recipe cards (were)… much appreciated. We love the photo ops and look forward to working with Congress Canada toward a prosperous 2012.”
